Application

The map shows place name suffixes in the Netherlands.

A lot of place names derive their name from geological characteristics. With the application you can discover 9 suffixes and their position in the Dutch landscape.

I made this visualization as part of my internship at the Waag Society. Data comes from the Histograph API.
